Run and Gun Elite - 9/16/97

 At the Run & Gun Elite Varsity Basketball Shoot-out held September 13-14 at Alameda High School.  The NorCal Magic was ranked the number # 1 Team.  ANTONAE ROBERSON ( Hayward Hi), ARMAND WAINWRIGHT ( Mt Eden ) and ERIC ROSBY (Fremont-Oak ) were all named to the  “ALL SHOOT-OUT TEAM “, and AL DYER ( Mt Eden ) was named  “ TOP PLAYMAKER “ .  Other standout players from the Magic include TIM THOMAS (San Leandro ), PAUL MARIGNEY ( Hayward ), ROB HENDRICKS ( Skyline ), and STEVE McILWAIN ( Fremont Christian ).

Magic Wins Adidas Summer Jam Tournament -97

The Adidas Summer Jam Tournament held at Holy Names College the NorCal Magic won the Boy's Varsity division.  Hayward high school's Antonae Roberson was named MVP.  Al "Nay Nay" Dyer from Mt. Eden won the Playmaker Award.  Also on the All Tournament Team from the Magic were Mitch Tarver (De LaSalle) and Kenny Walls (Galileo-S.F.).  Other Magic team members were Steve McIlwain (Fremont Christian), Armand Wainwright (Mt. Eden), Eric Rosby (Fremont-Oakland), Darrell Tucker (McClymonds-Oakland), Paul Marigney (Hayward), and Iman Mattox (Hayward).   8/97
