Levy Excels in Mexico

Former Magic player and Oakland native, Will Levy, just completed a successful basketball tour in Mexico. Competing in two different leagues Big Will racked up some big time numbers, putting up an average of 34 points and 16 rebounds per game. Will played in the city of Guasave, in the State of Sinola, for a team called

The Frayles. He also played in the city of Matamoros in the state of Tamaulipas. Levy, a graduate of McClymonds in ‘96 was a McDonald’s All American as a senior in high school. He was also named All League, All City, All Metro and East Bay Classic MVP. Will attended Eastern Washington University after spending two years at Diablo Valley College where he was named to the California All State Team and Conference MVP. After finishing Eastern Washington Levy hooked up with

EA Sports Club Team and from there to Mexico. The 6’ 9" Levy is now expecting to land a gig in Europe, or perhaps to the new NBA Developmental League. Caught up with Levy recently and he expressed how happy he was with his first professional experience…..here’s hoping he has many more.
