BUGGS WINS CHAMPIONSHIP

May - June 2002

Former Magic player, Mike Buggs, has won an honor that no other Magic player has won in 12 years – a National Championship! Playing for Division 2, Metro State of Denver, the sometimes starter averaged 12 points and 4 rebounds per game. A 3 year player for the Magic, Buggs was all league & all metro at Tennyson High and all conference and all state at Chabot College before getting a scholarship to Metro State.
