Nate The Great


Former NorCal Magic MVP (2001) Nate Robinson was named co-most valuable player with teammate Brandon Roy. Robinson who played at James Logan (Union City, Ca. & Rainier Beach in Seattle, Wash.) was also a All-Pac-10 first teamer. Robinson led the Huskies and ranked third among conference players with 53 steals. His 13.2-point scoring average led the team and ranked 13th among conference competitors. On April 7th, Robinson announced his intent to apply for the NBA Draft .

He does not plan to retain an agent and is eligible to return to the University of Washington after soliciting feedback from NBA personnel. The 5-foot 9 Robinson was also recipient of the Wurster Award, as the teams top hustler . Robinson also shot 85 % from the free-throw line and averaged 3.9 rebounds per game.
