2000-01/JUNIOR: Buggs played in 14 games for the season, and provided coach Dunlap with a strong body off the bench. He shot 86 percent from the foul line, and averaged about 2 points per game. His career high in points came against Great Falls Montana on Dec. 1, when he hit for 11. In 11 minutes played, Buggs was 5-for-5 from the free throw line, and hit 3-of-6 shots from the floor.

CHABOT COLLEGE: Buggs played one year at Chabot College, and posted some excellent numbers. As a forward, Buggs scored 21 points and posted 8 rebounds per game for the 1998-99 season. He was a first team all-California Junior College selection.

HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 21 points and 11 boards for Tennyson High. He was selected to all-conference and all-state teams in 1996-1997.

PERSONAL: Born on May 3, 1980 in Oakland, Calif...Son of Brenda Jones and Michael Buggs... Has one brother, Damarea... Majoring in Physical Education,and has ambitions to teach.
