View an online photo album of HS players....names of players with photos are linked to the album, photos for the others will be added as they become available.

RICKY TERRY 4/5 12 6'7 Mojave (Las Vegas)
All Conference—Sunset  Division,  Double Pump Camp

One of the best players on the team.  Ricky has a variety of low post moves  and Is very adept in and around the basket.  Very strong on the glass with good upper body strength, can also run the court.  Outstanding rebounder with shot blocking skills.Top scorer.  Should go low to mid D1.

MATT  LEE   1 /2  12   6’0 Aragon,San Mateo

All  League,  All  Metro,  3rd Team All  Northern California

A pure point guard Matt has the quickest pair of hands on the the team.  An outstanding passer and floor general Matt is going to be a great asset to the Magic.

JEFF RODGERS 1/ 2 12 6'0 James Logan
All League, Hoosier Classic- All Tournament, Riordan Tournament-All Tournament

Jeff can play either the point or 2 guard; in fact he can play point from the 2 slot. Looks different to see him calling the plays from the 2 slot without having the ball, but he gets the job done and controls the flow of the court @ Logan. An outstanding 3 point shooter, Jeff can also shoot off the dribble from any position; could also be the fastest on the Magic. Quick off the dribble, has handles. Should get D1 & D2 looks.

KEENA PAYTON 1/2 11 6'3 Skyline
OAL All League, All Metro (SF-OAK) , Super 100 , Las Vegas Summer Classic -All Tournament , EBO/EA Sports "Sweet 16" -All Tournament ,Nike Elite All Star

Keena is one of the best combo guards in NorCal. Sees the court very well and can shoot the lights out, 3's included. Has that rocker move to the basket a la Antoine Walker and his brother, Gary. Can penny and dish, understands the game. Expecting big things from Kenna this AAU season & in the future. Don't be fooled, Keena willblow by you, deceptively quick. Has bright future; will go D 1.

LUIS PULIDO 1/ 2 12 6'1 McClymonds
OAL All League, Super 100, Nike Elite All Star

A true point guard, Luis has nice size & speed, can hit the mid range jumper and the 3 pointer when needed. Really tries to run offense. Very tough on defense, especially against the other point guards in the OAL. Luis will work well in our pressure defense. Should get low to mid D1 or D2 looks.

DARIUS PARKER 1 /2/ 2 12   6'3 Oakland High
Top 40 NorCal Preps ,All League, All Metro, Slam n Jam Super 100 Pump Brothers All Star , NorCal Preps Top Jr.,Nike All Star Team

Darius was ranked 4th in post summer NorCal Preps top 2 guards. Known as a deadly outside shooter he also has the ability to score off the dribble and penetrate. Made The Pump Bros All Star team from the point guard position. Understands the game and will be very instrumental in our pressure defense. Rebounds very well for a guard. Darius, a starter for the Magic was a good reason why we beat the Soldiers. Hit the final basket in the Championship game over the Soldiers 1. Got the rebound from a missed shot and put it back as the clock went off. We win by 3. Made the All Star Team 9/21/02 @ The EBO/EA Sports “Sweet 16” in Fresno. Should get D 1 Attention September 29. 2002.

ANTONIO KELLOGG 1/2/ 3 11 6'3 McClymonds
OAL All League, Super 100 , Nike Elite All Star

Considered by many as the top complete guard (offense & defense) in Oakland City. Can play the 1 or 2 very effectively. Very fast off the dribble, very quick first step. A superb 3 point shooter and defensive player. Very quick hands and feet, understands the game. A complete player. Should go high D1.

PHIL  WOODS 2/3/4 12 6’4 McClymonds

One of the toughest players on the team, a starter on that tough McClymonds Team.  Runner-up in the City, to Oakland Tech.  Phil does just about everything to help us win . Timely shots, rebounding, steals, a hustle play, a block, you just never know with Phil, but always appreciated.  Can play inside or out.  Probablywill go to a JC before moving on to a D1 or D2 School.

MIKE SCOTT 2/3/4 12 6'5 Skyline
Super 100, EBO/EA Sports "Sweet 16"- All Star , Nike Elite All Star

Mike is a prime time player, a natural small forward. He basically can do it all: score, rebound, pass, block shots, and 3 pt. shooter. Actually, could bring the ball up court, has handles and vision. Has a variety of moves. A power player who understands the game. Should go D1. We like his demeanor when he hits the court, all business.

CHRIS BUSH 3/ 4 10 6'5 San Leandro
Pump Brothers Top 10 ( Freshman)

Joined the Magic as a Freshman and since we don't usually carry Freshman, Chris is obviously something special. As a sophomore Chris has really improved his total game. If it was not for a broken ankle near midseason Chris would be automatic for All League. He is averaging about 12 pts per game, getting rebounds and hitting the 3 point shot regularly. By senior year Chris should go mid to high D1. A natural small forward, but must adjust more to the 4 slot at this level because of his rebounding ability and strength.

HARRY BROWN 3/4/ 12 6'7 Hercules
NorCal Preps Top 10 , ACCAL All League , Super 100

Harry is new to the Magic this year and we are mighty glad to have him. To quote Nor Cal Preps: "A monster rebounder who can step out and hit the 15 foot jimmy". Well, I saw more than that. He can also hit the 3 pointer, block shots, run the court, and play tenacious defense. A superb athlete, Harry can go mid to high D1 or prep school could be an option.

IGOR FISHBEYN 3/4/5 12 6'9 Lincoln (SF)
All League, All Metro (SF-OAK), Nor Cal Preps Top 10 , Nike Elite All Star, Super 100 EBO/EA Sports "Sweet 16"

All Star First of all, lets set the record straight. Igor is a legitimate 6'9, not 6'7 that seems to be on other web sites. To quote NorCal Preps, he is a "tough hard-nose player", "Eastern block clone". Igor is probably the best low post player we have had in some time. Has a variety of low post moves, strong to the basketball. An outstanding rebounder at both ends of the court. Plays tough defense. Could go low to mid D1 or D2

LEVAR HALSELL 3/4/5 11 6'10 San Leandro
S N J Super 100 , Nor Cal Preps Top JR, Pirate Holiday Classic-All Tourney

Having worked very hard this past summer Levar has finally started to do what we knew would eventually happen. Has been averaging about 10 pts per game. Has major upside. Can run the court, block shots and rebound, should have a very good season. A very nice 10-15 ft shot. Working the boards much better Levar should attract D 1 attention…and he has another year.  Was named to the Pirate Holiday Classic-All Tournament team while scoring 17 pts with numerous rebounds and blocked shots.

MARIO MALAVE 3/4/5 12 6'8 McClymonds
EBAL All League,Super 100

Mario, a transfere from Emery is finally getting used to the OAL style of play. Mario has been very impressive of late scoring and rebounding. He plays very good defense and can run the court. He also has the ability to step out and hit the 3 pointer. At the next level Mario could play 3 or 4. Low to mid D 1 or could improve status by going to a Juco.

KALIQ BROWN 4/5 12 6'6 Lincoln (SF)
San Fancisco Chronicle Top 12 , All League

Could be one of the most improved players on the squad from last year. A hustler on the court, Kaliq never quits, always works hard. An excellent offensive rebounder wth a quick first step around the basket and has a variety of low post moves. Always around that loose ball under the offensive basket. Very good at put backs. Kaliq could go low to mid D1 or D2. Good team player, doesn't make mistakes.
