Magic Champion’s @ NAYS

At the North American Youth Sports, Western Regionals held in Modesto, Calif. May 4 thru 6, the NorCal Magic emerged as the winner over Oakland Soldiers 2 in the finals, winning 54-48. Cory Douglas was named MVP. Also on the All Tournament Team were Mike McGhee and Jeff Ford. Cory Douglas led the way playing outstanding defense, blocking shots, rebounding, and scoring. Jeff Ford played tough defense. He stole the ball on an inbounds play and scored with 2 minutes to go. His getting to the basket, dropping dimes, and scoring kept us in the game. Mike McGhee had some nice assists, hit some big baskets, and also played outstanding defense. In fact, the entire team played good team defense.
