Soldiers 1 Defeat Magic for 2004 Title

After finishing the Slam N Jam League as the # 1 seed going into the play-offs with a 6-1 record .The NorCal Magic lost in the finals to Soldiers 1. We had previously beaten them in the Platium Division of Slam N Jam (Varsity, League play. The Magic finished 8-2 and runner-up to the Soldiers 1.

Antonio Kellogg (McClymonds) was named team MVP. Major players were Tim Pierce (Hercules),Keena Payton (Skyline), Robert Mitchell ( Berkeley ),Justin Holmes ( Fremont ), Mike Nunnally (East Union), Mike Keuthe (Rocklin), Brandon Hinchee ( Albany ), Chris Scott (Skyline). Other players were Jabari Davis ( Oakland ), Andrew Peacock & Robert McGruder from Emery.Thanks to my Staff: James Davis, Tony McNeal, Greg Armour & Mickey Hope. We’ve taken 2nd place in SNJ now for the second straight year, after winning the gold in 2002. Top Scorer’s were Kellogg, Pierce, Holmes, Payton & Scott.
