MAGIC WIN NAYS

The North American Youth Sports (NAYS) Spring Fling Basketball Tournament held in Modesto , California , May 5 thru 8, 2006. In the boy’s varsity division, The NorCal Magic won the championship. Newark Memorial’s Ben Washington was named MVP. The Magic posted wins over Richmond PAL, The Delhi Hawks, the Hercules Gladiators and in the finals beat the Berkeley Hoyas.

Also on the All Tournament team , Jabari McIntosh (Newark Memorial), Adam Chavis (Castlemont) and Jonathan Darwin (San Leandro). Other Team members were Marc Traylor (Tennyson), Denarrio Tatmon (Skyline), Terrance Wilder (McClymonds), and Jeff Ford (Hayward).
