Magic Win Summer Blast

The NorCal Magic AAU Team won the San Jose Road Dawg’s Summer

Blast Basketbal Tournament. The Magic won the Varsity Division held

at Independence High School in San Jose .  DeAngelo Williams of Deer

Valley HS was named MVP.  Also on the All Tournament team were

Mico Johnson (Castlemont HS) and Corey Douglas (Castlemont). The whole

team played well in preparation for Las Vegas .  Other team members

were Powell Lee (Fremont-Oak), Louis Lowe (Castlemont), Jason Silsdorf

(Encinal), Reggie Lambert ( El Cerrito ), Lee Carter (Capital Christian-Sacramento),

 and Chris James (Fremont-Oak). Tournament was held July 19 & 20.

The Magic beat the Fremont Rebels 74-53, beat the Bay Area Nets 64-55.

and ran over the Bay Area Warriors 69-24.
