Rebels Dethrone Magic for Slam 'N Jam Title - 2003

After going 8-0 in the Slam N Jam Spring League, the current champions , the NorCal Magic finished as the # 1 seed in the league playoffs championships. The Magic received a bye in the first round. In the 2nd round the Magic defeated The Soldiers 3, 54-34. Advancing to the semi finals the Magic defeated the unbeaten Soldiers 2, 39-33. In the finals the Magic were defeated by the Oakland Runnin Rebels 42-38.

Making the Magic All Tournament Team were Mario Malave (McClymonds), Keena Payton (Skyline),and Harry “Beef” Brown.(Hercules). Other Magic Team members were Warner West (Hercules), Phil Woods & Luis Pulido (McClymonds), Michael Dyson (Hogan-Vallejo), Kaliq Brown (Lincoln-SF), Darius Parker (Oakland High), Levar Halsell (San Leandro), and DeMarcus Hall (Richmond).
