Magic go  4-1 in Las Vegas

At the Las Vegas Summer Classic  2006, the NorCal Magic lost to the Las Vegas Prospects in the quarter finals of the platinum division 78-65.  The Prospects went on to win the 58 team tournament. Quarter finals would put us about 7th place.  In the first game we beat a tough Seattle YES team  58-55.  In game two we beat Edmonton Alberta , Canada 81-51.     Next came the New Mexico Tarheels, 49-44, Magic win. Against A tough New York City team we won 64-63.  From the Magic side our Tournament CO-MVP’s  were Terrance Wilder(McClymonds) and Robert Owens (Skyline).  Outstanding play from Jeff Ford ( Hayward ), BJ Lassiter ( Pinole Valley ), John McClanahan (ISA-SF), Denarrio Tatmon (Skyline), Melvin Blue (Fremont-Oak), Isaiah Sandoval (ISA-SF) and Ben Washington ( Newark Memorial). We finished the season 29-5.
